April 15, 2022 3:42 pm Image by Rudy Anderson from PixabayPleasanton Children’s Dentistry & Braces is proud to be a fixture in a community we love so much. It brings us such joy to see all the smiling faces that walk through our doors! To help keep that happiness going, we thought we’d share some of our favorite, family-friendly activities around the city. Anytime, you’re looking for something fun to do with your family, consider one of these suggestions!
Play at the Park
At Atascosa River Park, hours of fun await the whole family! You can set up a delicious spread at one of the picnic tables, have a barbecue, let loose in the playground area, play a game of basketball, and more. Since there’s the river right next to the park, you can also spend some time fishing. Just don’t forget your fishing poles!
Go for a Swim
During the summertime, there’s no better place to be than at the City Aquatic Center. You and your kids will be able to cool down from the sweltering Texas heat in the refreshing pool here. Keep an eye on the center’s activities too since they also host swimming lessons and water aerobics classes.
Visit the Museum
If the weather isn’t ideal for spending time outdoors, why not pay a visit to the local Longhorn Museum? At this museum, you and your family can check out different displays about the history of the county. Across the space, there are lots of cool artifacts and documents to see, including an extensive wild game exhibit, a historic hearse, and a Union Pacific Caboose.
